These Terms & Service govern your use of this website and any order you place through it. By browsing the site or completing a purchase, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

We recommend saving or printing a copy of these terms at the time you order, as they form part of the contract between us.

Verdelisse Home is a New Zealand brand selling artificial plants, trees, planters and botanical décor. Where these terms refer to we, us or our, they refer to Verdelisse Home.

Adding items to your basket and completing checkout is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation by email.

We may decline or cancel an order where an item is unavailable, where a price or description was published in error, where we cannot deliver to your address, or where we reasonably suspect fraudulent use. If we do, we refund any payment taken in full.

To order you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include applicable sales tax unless stated otherwise. Delivery costs are calculated at checkout and shown before you confirm your order.

Payment is taken at the time of order using the methods offered at checkout. We may correct an obvious pricing error before dispatch; where a corrected price is materially higher, we will contact you and you may cancel for a full refund.

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 days once dispatched, excluding carrier delays and peak periods. Delivery timescales are estimates and not guaranteed dates.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please check the delivery address carefully at checkout: where a parcel is returned to us because the address was wrong, incomplete, or uncollected from a pickup point, we can resend it once you cover the reshipping cost.

You can ask us to cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it. Once an order has been processed or dispatched we can no longer cancel it, but you can still return it under the guarantee below.

We offer a voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee: unused items returned in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery are refunded in full for the item price. This guarantee is offered on top of your rights under consumer law and does not reduce or replace them.

Contact us before sending anything back. Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect. See our Return & refund policy for the full procedure.

If an item arrives damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered, email us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the item and its packaging.

You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under consumer law. In these cases we cover the cost of return postage.

Our pieces are made from silk foliage, cured natural wood and cast or fired pots. Because these are partly natural and hand-finished materials, small variations in colour, grain, height and leaf placement are expected and are not defects.

Screens render colour differently. Photographs and dimensions are provided in good faith as an accurate guide, but slight variation from the item you receive is normal.

Our products are decorative items intended for indoor domestic use unless a listing states otherwise. They are not food, not toys, and not intended for consumption by people or animals.

Follow the care guidance we publish. We are not responsible for damage caused by outdoor exposure, water immersion, cleaning agents, leaf-shine sprays, heat sources, or modification of the piece.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity carried out under your account.

You agree not to misuse this site: no attempts to gain unauthorised access, no automated scraping or bulk data extraction, no interference with the site's operation, and no use of the site for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

All content on this site — including the Verdelisse Home name and marks, photography, product descriptions, editorial writing and page design — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law.

You may view and print pages for your own personal use. Reproducing, republishing or using our content commercially without written permission is not permitted.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or business. Our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

We do not guarantee that the site will be available uninterrupted or free of errors.

We collect and process personal data in order to take payment, fulfil your order and answer your questions. We do not sell your personal data.

How we handle your information, including your rights of access, correction and erasure, is set out in our privacy policy.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, our operations or the law. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

Material changes will be reflected in the date shown at the top of this page.

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Where you buy as a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies in your country of residence.

If something goes wrong, please write to us first — most issues are settled in a single exchange of emails. If we cannot resolve it between us, disputes may be brought before the competent courts of New Zealand or of your country of residence.
